SHOESS!!! I'm so excited! These are literally the perfect heels ever and I got them on sale! I have yet to find an article of clothing in my closet that fails to match with these shoes. I absolutely love the contrast between the light wood and the black leather which makes them pretty versatile in that you can pair them with something casual or formal. Madewell still has these shoes online in a burgundy and a gold color but only if you happen to be a size 11. It's kind of a stretch but they remind me of these Alexander Wang heels that Shini, from Park and Cube, is always wearing/ featuring in her blog. Hope you enjoyed this post! woot woot
From filming Harry Potter, to campaigning for Burberry, to studying at Brown University and now Oxford University, Emma Watson has maintained a humble persona throughout the growth of her fame. Not only a super famous actor, she's also a prominent style icon and inspiration for so many people. Here's a quote from Emma Watson that I got from fashion.telegraph.co.uk: "Before, I used to insist on taking the bus or the underground as a way of rebelling against my fame. But, at one point, you have to give it up." I just thought that just really shows her personality and her thoughts towards her fame in that she doesn't take advantage of it, and I find that quite refreshing. I think she is just so beautiful, both in her appearance and personality, as well as inspirational.[caption id="attachment_391" align="alignleft" width="392"] Where would Hermione be without Harry and Ron? For Teen Vouge. (I think Daniel Radcliff's facial expression is so great)[/caption] [caption id="" align="alignleft" width="455"] Wearing Tom Ford and Louis Vuitton[/caption] [caption id="" align="alignleft" width="453"] I just think this is a beautiful picture of her![/caption] [caption id="attachment_381" align="alignleft" width="495"] For Teen Vogue[/caption] [caption id="attachment_383" align="alignleft" width="432"] I also think this picture of her is just so beautiful but in a different way than the other picture. It's more natural and stunning, I think[/caption]
Here’s just a few things I got recently from Urban Outfitters (which were all on sale!) that ended up being all black… hmm…First thing I got was a simple dress with a circle skirt that also has a superr cool criss-cross cut out right in the middle. I’d wear it with some super tall, chunky, wooden-heeled platforms that I own.
This “muscle” tee is a little “grunge-y” for my liking but it’s still really cool! The graphic on it is a little sketchy looking but pretty unique, haha. I think it’d look cool tucked into a flowy skirt, high waisted shorts, or maybe some skinny jeans.
well thanks for readin’!
…I originally found this on Refinery29: a Louis Vuitton ad featurin’ 22x Olympian champion Michael Phelps looking kind of angry, and I thought it was too weird/surprising/generally bizarre to pass up talking about it. But I don’t know what to say… I guess I’ll leave it up to you guys to stew in your own bathtubs of conflicting emotions.
1. peplum and bustiers are the current hype of the style world
2. tie-dye can be chic and not just for summer camp
3. less is more: classic silhouettes + simple and dainty patterns = elegant fashion
This season’s Dior was absolutely brilliant! Quite minimalistic for haute couture, however brilliant nonetheless. I’m sure I could learn a million other things from this collection but these are just a few obvious ones. What do you guys think?
Okay so these are Steve Madden's Jazie oxfords in cognac that they're selling for $89.95: CHECK THESE OUT! I found an almost exact pair of oxfords at Target for $19.99!!! They're slightly different because they have a suede like finish and they're a darker beige color than the Jazie oxfords but I'm still super happy with my find! Target also makes the same oxford in black with a bright blue sole. YAYY
