Three quite simple things I learned from the 2012 Dior haute couture show (which in itself was fantastic and I absolutely loved every single piece):
1. peplum and bustiers are the current hype of the style world
2. tie-dye can be chic and not just for summer camp
3. less is more: classic silhouettes + simple and dainty patterns = elegant fashion
This season’s Dior was absolutely brilliant! Quite minimalistic for haute couture, however brilliant nonetheless. I’m sure I could learn a million other things from this collection but these are just a few obvious ones. What do you guys think?
i absolutely loovvee Mary Katranzou’s designs because she uses patterns in such unconventional ways and her clothes are so structural and i think she is just amazing! i tried to make shots of her clothes from fall 2012 rtw show as my background but then my text was unreadable. so enjoy these pictures in a post instead.
honestly, her clothes are works of art!
